Focus on Office 2007 Upgrade Classes Gain Great Interest in 2008
|
We have seen a significant increase in the number of requests for the Focus on Office 2007 series of classes in the year 2008, and we anticipate it continuing very strong in 2009. As organizations make the decision to replace their computers, they quickly realize that they have exited from the "Office Comfort Zone". Microsoft Office® as we have come to know and love it has changed radically. Heading the list of changes in all of the Office 2007 programs is the new user interface, which has required extensive staff retraining. Gone are the days of pull down menus and toolbars, which are now replaced with the ribbon interface. The ribbon interface changes depending on a user's particular task. The ribbon is broken down by several top-level tabs which organize the commands in various groups. The commands grouped in each ribbon include buttons, boxes (text boxes, check boxes, etc.) and galleries. The galleries include a set of predefined, often graphical choices which support live preview. Live preview allows you to point to a gallery choice and see its effect without actually selecting the choice. This is one of the most powerful new features in all of the Office programs.
The Training Center at HABCO offers five different Office 2007 Upgrade Focus classes that are designed for the person who has a solid understanding of the application in an earlier version, but wants to know only about the differences between them. These classes run for three-hours, include a Microsoft certified book, and cost only $85.

"Hi Cindy ~
Sorry this so slow coming to you but I just wanted to THANK-YOU again for the terrific training last week:) It helped me more than I can tell you and I was even able to figure out how to apply some of the things to my computer. I know this may sound silly but this is a big accomplishment for me. I can't wait till November for the Focus on Word 2007....hopefully I will be able to make this meeting:)
Have a great weekend and keep up the great job that you do!!! You help out more than you may even realize and you make it interesting & fun.
Talk to you soon...Judy"
